Objectives and Metaphor

My ePortolio
I'm creating an aspirational-type ePortfolio. Definitions for ePortfolios range from a simple collection of artifacts to a complex forum within professional community interaction (Brandes & Boskic, 2008). I intend to showcase the skills and abilities I developed during the MET course and their integration into projects conducted inside and outside the academic setting. My ePortfolio will describe actions of international cooperative groups to reduce health problems that I am part of, such as INTES (Innovation and Technology in Healthcare), AIRAS (International Alliance for Healthcare Disorders), RECACCA (Central American and Caribbean Network for Risk and Harm Reduction), and my role as a Brazilian Ambassador of African Global Health (AGH).
Metaphor
My chosen metaphor is "A rolling stone gathers no moss." Although it can be interpreted in several meanings, such as an ePortofolio, I crave to emphasize the sense of movement essential for any developmental process, from physical to spiritual setting. More precisely, in my exposition, I intend to highlight my ability to stay and think outside the box or my comfort zone, living on the borders of intercultural communication and mixing Health and Education. Furthermore, my portfolio will document experiences of teamwork, containing interaction between healthcare professionals from different continents, discussion of educational alternatives in the healthcare field and examples, inspiring and forging new projects, instigate and allow me to participate as a consultant and collaborate with the Educational and Health ecosystem, always following the EDIDA framework.
Target Audience
My target audience is potential employers, clients, companies, and academic institutions that realize the potential of projects on risk, harm reduction, and lifestyle changes impacting population demands. Rowley (2016) states: "An advantage of ePortfolios in improving student employability is the use of evidence of professional capabilities in mixed media."
Provocations
Does this eportfolio illustrate projects and cases where simple measures can positively influence healthcare outcomes? How do behavioral modifications depend on effective intercultural communication? How can people get involved in harm reduction and lifestyle changes? Allowing my role as a consultant in this process.
Objectives
My goals in creating an e-portfolio are to provoke people about risk and harm reduction and lifestyle changes and to foster an environment where technology can be used for equity by preventing and correcting past injustices and biases. Furthermore, the smart goals base the rationale behind the eportfolio. Outlining the floor plan of the entire process is fundamental to guiding the portfolio's construction. Developing an eportfolio without following smart goals means straying from the portfolio's purpose and convictions. In this case, it may be more appropriate to readjust the objectives. The electronic portfolio serves as a representation of my thoughts, values, and concerns.
Technology Connecting to Health
My technological skills illustrate how I express myself and the art of creating that representation. The media tools expressed concerns about Risk and Harm Reduction, Climate change, Climate Refugees, Global risk factors for non-communicable diseases like Cardiopathies, Cancer, Obesity, Tobacco and Alcohol consumption, inequity in Water and other resources distribution linking populations in need through the healthcare system and government legislators and executives. For instance, artifacts external to the MET course are podcasts and videocasts with Lifestyle Medicine orientation about the harms of a sedentary lifestyle and the benefits of exercising adjusted to the population. Another videocast comments on smoking cessation alternatives for patients with several previous attempts.
